Critical Business School
CBS is a school of schools. A space for thinking about thinking — in its actionable sense. A place where thoughtful practitioners can meet others in thinking.
One of its founding beliefs is that creativity exists before language. Everything else is production.
Most educational systems are editorial. They transmit books rather than ways of thinking. They employ people who could be curious — about themselves, about how they work — but who don’t feel economically motivated to be. The result is a missed opportunity on both sides: to look behind what we say, open up about how we think, and meet others through their version of creativity. When we teach editorially, we all end up striving to be someone other than ourselves.
CBS has no teachers or students. It has instructors and participants.
Instructors are invited to teach from the back of the house — from their place of interruption and intuition — rather than from a pedestal or a polished, rehearsed front. CBS is a place where living ideas meet other living ideas.
Critical Business School is a rolling program that consists of two parts — core weekly conversations on topics of the self, transformation, and leadership. And a weekly elective on subjects including: AI, typography, complexity, growth, and embodiment.

I'm putting together the next series of CBS electives — looking for practitioners with a perspective, not experts with a syllabus. Reply if that's you.
