Hi, welcome. A lot of visual communication (and some sounds) in this week’s Something Interesting.
Type foundries and designers have the best sites. I absolutely love anything Grilli Type releases to the internet.
And while on the topic of letters, I find myself sharing Fontstand regularly with people who care about typography and want a broader selection than Google Fonts.
The tl;dr is that you can rent fonts monthly, and after paying for a year, the font is yours. I have already done this with a few, including releases from Commercial Type, Indian Type Foundry, and Letters from Sweden.
Fontstand is a Typotheque project, which regularly publishes essays like this one.
New white noise generator from Andreas Pihlström, more on the logic behind it here.

Thank you for your attention.
