What is a place of thinking, and how is it different from all other places? The furniture of a place of thinking needn’t be legible. Each step we take within a place of thinking is meaningful and genuinely generous because no one asks for it. It is all meaning and maybe some communication, while a place of doing is all communication, with meaning intertwined, if we’re lucky.
A robust place of thinking keeps the world at bay. It stands strong and does not fluctuate when life happens as expected or when we encounter setbacks. Like the body’s core, it is where we initiate movement, look for balance, and choreograph ourselves in the world.
This week, I invite you to think about what ideas you’re developing without anyone asking.
