Being yourself is good business. The decoupling of the self from being in service of others (/work) is the stubborn core of disembodied creativity and endless cycles of manual course correction, as opposed to systematic (/living) alignment.
Being yourself is not being buddies with everyone you work with or for. It is a continuous process of sensing and reacting (authoring ways of being) to opportunities that are energizing, drain or need to be done boringly, as opposed to unthinkingly following given how-to’s, culture, and language in a way that confines (sensing and acting), but most importantly, without any care.
Axiom:
The process of self-actualization is finding the language that allows you to be yourself next to others.
