Choreography
When we choreograph our careers, we look at a scene from the outside, us included. Groups of people and events are plotted on a timeline, resulting in an outcome manifested through a narrative. We might also grade events as positive or negative to our scripted plan. It limits adaptability and, inevitably, ways of being. When we position ourselves as playing a part in a script we wrote, we might not perceive other adjacent opportunities — which are within reach and blocked by our expectations.
This week, I invite you to consider where you might benefit from less choreography and more being.
