Being Reductive
Being reductive is being overly simplistic without acknowledging its cost.
Thoughtfulness is the intuitive knowledge that there is more, and having the fortitude (self-leadership) and patience to look for it.
A system is as complex as we need it to be. Not everything needs to be unpacked; that can make living logistically challenging. But more often than not, efficiency gets in the way of being yourself.
We write a bit too quickly, use AI to do too much, and finish a conversation one question too early.
