Advice
Belonging comes at a cost, but only if you don’t consider it. Mindful practice is necessary to integrate and not only follow other people’s advice.
Advice is only useful when integrated once we have forgotten its wording and integrated its meaning and creativity. When we integrate advice, we learn a new way of being ourselves, a form of thinking or being we didn’t construct before. It does not need memorizing or archival as a set of introductions. Instead, we integrate the perception embedded within it. It is a way of looking at thinking and a way of navigating intuition.
This week, I invite you to consider where you keep the advice you’re given or read.
