Generality
As I take stock of ideas, living and evergreen, I am reminded of approaching ideas as particular or general. Some ideas benefit from context and attention to individuated spaces, while others gain weight and richness from being shared across many contexts. Self-actualization is one such general idea. It captures many (day-to-day) moments of discernment and creates a focal point for change.
Everyone wants to self-actualize. To be seen by the world, the way they see themselves. This pursuit is both rigorous and open. I wrote about it here before, but now I realize the presence of this thought and want to share it as a prompt and an invitation. This week, I invite you to consider how you see yourself, how others see you, or the connection between the two.
